The RS-25 is one of the highest performance rocket engines to ever fly with a specific impulse of 453 seconds specific impulse (vac). I had the opportunity to work as a performance analyst and investigate the inner workings of this system. 

My work ranged from:

• Analyzing subsystems to further improve the predictability of steady-state performance.

• Develop tools for the analyst group to quickly pull statistical data on the RS-25's rich test history and compare it to the latest testing.

• Analyze specific conditions of the engine to deepen the understanding from tests to design teams.
